Baldness effects both men and women although it appears more in men. By the age of 25, approximately 25% of men have lost a certain
amount of their hair and by the age of 50 this proportion rises to around 50%. Many men however, accept with reluctance that it will not

proportion of hairs in the shedding (telogen ) phase.
